For the past eight years, CloudLeap Technologies, LLC has supported the Federal Government customers by providing “cutting edge” big data & analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, identity, and access management services and middle-tier application development. In addition to providing award-winning and “cutting edge” service, we also build AI and ML products to solve our customers’ complex and challenging data problems. We leverage our relationship with our Cloud partners to provide these services and product development on premises and on the cloud.
We are located in Baltimore, MD and are SBA certified small HUBZone business. We received our certification in February 2018 and are committed to the letter and spirit of the HUBZone program. Our HUBZone status is a major component of our business strategy and we have developed a meaningful approach to meet and exceed our commitment to the SBA’s HUBZone program. We are a strong believer in the HUBZone program because we know the program works – it creates jobs and provides education for people in the neediest geographic areas like the city of Baltimore!
Meet our Founder
Mr. Prashant Shah
President of CloudLeap Technologies, LLC
Prashant’s story is an American story, an immigrant story. He immigrated to this land of opportunity at age 24. He came to the United States at age 24 with only a few hundred dollars in his pocket and a suitcase with his personal belongings. Overcoming a lot of financial difficulties, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University. He spent the next 23 years as a contractor building and managing IT systems for major federal agencies including: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, The Federal Protective Service and US Customs and Border Protection, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD now FINRA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), US Department of Veterans Affairs – Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Prashant’s recent projects include supporting Big Data/Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Identity, Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) / Access Control Solutions (AcS).
Prashant was a member of the original team at the National Cancer Institute that initiated, designed and developed the first iteration of a big data project called Rembrandt that enabled NIH researchers to superimpose genetic and clinical data to further cancer research. The project was the recipient of the 2005 Service to America Medal.

As a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN), we build custom solutions for our customers on the AWS cloud. With our deep expertise on AWS and building big data, analytics and machine learning solutions on AWS, we are uniquely positioned to help our customers at any stage of their cloud adoption journey and to help them achieve their business objective. We leverage AWS to provide to build our customers data lake and analytics solutions. We provide the following big data & analytics services on AWS: Data Movement, Data Lake, Analytics and Machine Learning using technologies such as AWS Direct Connect, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose, Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, AWS Glue, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis and Amazon Redshift.
