    About CloudLeap™ Us

    Founded in 2010, we are a software development firm that serves government agencies (federal, state, and local) and private organizations. Our turnkey solutions include software development using open-source technologies that dovetail into the Big Data engineering space. We also help clients securely store, manage, and analyze data using innovative tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

Firmly committed to the letter and spirit of the HUBZone program, we received our certification in 2018. The HUBZone program is a driving force behind our business strategy because we firmly believe that it helps create new jobs and education opportunities for those living in the neediest geographic areas – including Baltimore.

    Mr. Prashant Shah

    President of CloudLeap™ Technologies, LLC

    Prashant’s story is an American story, an immigrant story. He immigrated to this land of opportunity at age 24. He came to the United States at age 24 with only a few hundred dollars in his pocket and a suitcase with his personal belongings.

    Overcoming a lot of financial difficulties, Prashant obtained a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University. He spent the next 23 years as a contractor building and managing IT systems for major federal agencies including: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, The Federal Protective Service and US Customs and Border Protection, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD now FINRA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), US Department of Veterans Affairs – Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

    Prashant’s recent projects include supporting Big Data/Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Identity, Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) / Access Control Solutions (AcS).

    Prashant was a member of the original team at the National Cancer Institute that initiated, designed and developed the first iteration of a big data project called Rembrandt that enabled NIH researchers to superimpose genetic and clinical data to further cancer research. The project was the recipient of the 2005 Service to America Medal.
